THE ROLE
Medi-Weightloss adds physician supervised weight loss and metabolic health services to the benefits employers already offer. We have proven it with large employers, and we are expanding across Central Florida and into other markets outside the state.
You own the full sales cycle: find your own leads, cold call, get in front of decision makers, and build a customized program for each employer you sign.
This is not an insurance or financial services sales role. No policies, plans, or financial products, and no license required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build and own a pipeline of mid to large employers.
Generate your own leads through research, list building, associations, HR and benefits groups, chambers, events, and referrals.
Cold call daily by phone, email, and LinkedIn, and set meetings with HR directors, benefits managers, superintendents, CFOs, owners, and wellness committees.
Work with clinic operations and marketing to launch each program, including benefits fairs, on site education, and open enrollment.
Stay involved after the sale to drive participation and grow the account.
Keep the CRM current and represent us at HR, benefits, and wellness events.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required
2+ years B2B, outside sales, or business development. Track record matters more than industry.
Proven outbound prospecting and cold calling, with the resilience to keep activity high through rejection.
Ability to reach senior decision makers and sell to a committee.
Consultative approach: ask, listen, tailor, no script.
Clear communication and confidence presenting to executives and to employee groups.
Self directed and accountable to targets without daily supervision.
Comfort with CRM and standard business tools.
Discretion with sensitive health information.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel Central Florida.
Living in or able to commute daily to Orlando.
Preferred
Selling into HR, employee benefits, corporate wellness, or occupational health.
Existing network of Central Florida employers, HR leaders, or benefits brokers.
Familiarity with healthcare services, weight management, or clinical care delivery.
Bilingual English and Spanish is a nice perk here, but not something we weigh in hiring.
WHY THIS ROLE
Open territory to build. Room to shape how we expand outside Florida. The programs you sell give employees real clinical care.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Competitive base depending on experience, plus incentives tied to signed partnerships and employee enrollment. 401(k) with match, health insurance, paid time off, travel and mileage reimbursement, and employee access to Medi-Weightloss services.

About Medi-Weightloss
Headquartered in Tampa, FL, Medi-Weightloss® is a physician supervised weight loss program with over 100 locations nationwide. Our founder, Edward Kaloust, began researching obesity in 2005 while on his own weight loss journey. He discovered that Americans spend billions annually on weight loss programs and products only to eventually regain most of the weight. It was then that Mr. Kaloust dedicated himself to ensuring that his program would not only help patients lose weight but also provide the support and education they need to keep it off.
Medi-Weightloss prides itself on its evidence-based approach to treatment through clinical research. As the industry leader in physician-supervised weight loss, we are committed to making advances in weight management and implementing these advances to develop new therapies, enhance clinical guidelines, and assist with clinical decision-making. Our patients have come to expect not only weight loss success but also quality medical care for their weight related health issues. For more information on the science of Medi-Weightloss, click HERE.
